[6/25, 6:15 PM] Afeez Opeyemi: O'meal participants lament Illegal #10,000 extortion by some people:

There have been several reports coming in, most especially around Illie and its neighbouring communities, about some bad elements requesting for #10,000 for them to be among the shortlisted beneficiaries.

Kindly be informed and inform others who have shown interest in O'meal scheme that it's illegal for them to pay anyone 10k or any other amount to facilitate their names being shortlisted. The names of shortlisted beneficiaries will be released soon. No one can influence it for anyone. Participants should just be patient.

We are using this platform to reach out to all relevant stakeholders to look into this allegation and sanction any one found guilty.

This should also serve as a warning to these fraudsters: to desist from this fraudulent act that tarnishes the Osun state government, APC and Governor Oyetola's image.
